TRAVEL: Discover Louis Vuitton's Volez, Voguez, Voyagez Exhibit
Every fashion girl out there has a Louis Vuitton moment. For over 150 years, the iconic label has touched the lives of so many people, from silver screen actresses to today's biggest pop stars, and even royalty. So when it was announced that French fashion house was opening a limited-time exhibit in New York City, I had to check it out.
Located at the American Stock Exchange Building in FiDi, Louis Vuitton's Volez, Voguez, Voyagez Exhibit unfolds the history of the House of Louis Vuitton from 1854 to the present. The historical journey begins with the piece that started it all, the classic LV trunk. A figure of travel, style, and class, the LV trunk is symbol of the old days of travel in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The exhibit continues to tell the story of Louis Vuitton's evolution from travel accessories and utilities, to one of the favorite labels for silver screen actress in the mid-20th century, to being a top red carpet choice for celebs today. The 10-room exhibit was truly an amazing exhibit and I recommend a visit for any fashion lover out there.
Louis Vuitton's Volez, Coguez, Voyagez Exhibit will be open to the public through January 7, 2018.
